I started this page on the 4th Nov.2010 but only managed to finished it by today..

The orange background looks pale in the computer but on paper its a little but bright

I prepared the pages first with collage from recycle paper and then made the background with yellow, yellow orche and black for some rusty effect. And finally scribble on it..


I like the overall layout with this tone.

He loves blue..I like blue and many other colours as well (except for floor and wall tiles :-)..Prepared the pages with light blue bakground and then made a circle with cobalt blue (less soluble) to get this effect..and applied yellow directly on the pages..

Paste same paper cutting from waste pape from the office


Add one big tree that symbolise shelter and place to hang on too..

Been thinking too much lately..about many things..

We had planned to travel to few places by end of the year and mid of next year, but due to this new event in life, we had to reschedule..and here are the list of places..

Hatching and art journal:

Some recent work..I've been sketching a lot nowadays with 2B pencil and Artline 0.4 and 0.6..I like black and white sketches because hatching techniques can be highlighted

My subject is always old trees and boulders in a mysterious setting..

My art journal entry, inspired by my trip to Bellamy to hunt for ikan bakar, blame it on Garmin, we end up driving thru Chinese cemetery all the way.... :-P

New Beginning:

I just started with art jounaling since last few months..sometimes back in 2009..it all started when work load was not heavy like at this office...



I used mix media on a small journal with thick paper and poster colour, still experimenting..

Art journal and reminder :

I just finished with this reminder which will be pasted on our door leading to the dry yard, our maid always have this bad habit of not closing the door at night. I thought why not making this as a piece of art rather than just a blank white paper with instruction.

I used left over stuff ..from old product catalgue to old letters, and make a collage

I purposely used this background to relate to the content of this reminder..

Art journal page for 09-09-09 on Wednesday..i even bought a newspaper for the sake of making a collage later today.

I need to be more expressive with the colour and arrangement of the collage..need canvas and acrylic paint as well...
